About My Mother

In the beginning of this writing, I would definitely love everybody to know that I respect all mothers and I'm sure each one of them did the best for their kids.

Şirin Balcı (my mother), she was a business leader who was in the cosmetic industry for years. A very successful founder, an expert, a great teacher who gave so many workshops, toured the World and most importantly she always invested in the goodness and the people. That's the main reason I admire her. Now, she is a life-coach with 2 published books and still keep helping people and always improving herself.

When it comes to my childhood, specially the relationship with the music she was the greatest mentor I have ever met. The most importantly, she did teach me to going after the knowledge, the self-study and this did let me find my own ways of learning and playing the instruments in very early ages. And absolutely around 5, she did discover the musical side of mine which was one of the turning points of my life as a musician. 

And the years later, still she is the one I talk about some of the most complex musical insides with. She's not a musician but the most important thing how she always understand the big picture, learn the main rules and come with a new idea.

And a great friend..

If in any scenario my music can last longer than 100 years or more on Earth, I would love people to know the invisible hero behind all this.
